The famous Hampi
even during the days of Ramayana has got its own sanctity, credibility and
validity. Vaali and Sugreeva
lived here in the abode of Hampi - Anegundi and Kishkindha, those
were the days of bravery and chivalry and abundant in all respects. It was very
clear today that they spent the most important part of their life there. Our Maryaada Purushottama Sri Ramachandradevaru during Vanavaasa
stayed in Hampi for the chaturmaasa
and performed the pooja of parama
vaishnava Sri Virupakshadevaru
after taking a holy dip in the Tungabhadra which is equal to the Sarayu river of Ayodhya. Abundant
natural scenery, beauty and the sanctity made Sri Rama to stay here in Hampi along with his brother Sri Laxmana.
Karanatka emperors ruled here with high pomp and
show. Lived as per the wish of the citizens public and contributed the
greatest welfare to the prajas, constructed vast
temples and made Hampi a remarkable and memorable.
Sri Vyasaraja Yativarya was
the Guru to Kanakadasa and Purandaradasaru.
Hampi became the center of Sri Vyasarajaru’s
devotional forum of creativity.
As a mark of witness and the holy rememberance of the first darshana of Sri Ramachandradevaru to Hanumantha on the bank of Tungabhadra Chakrateertha, Sri Vyasarajaru with his devotional Siddhi drawn the sketch with the angara. Prayed Sri Hari, offered crores of japa made Yantra to stay Swami Hanumadevaru for ever for the betterment of the devotees.
Twelve times Sri Vyasarajaru has drawn the sketch of Hanuman in various styles but as soon the Swamiji applied dwadashanaama, the kapivara used to flew away, the sketch was soon wiped off. This time our Yatiraja with great devotion prayed Sri Hari Vayu and drawn the sketch of Praanadevaru, sitting in the Yogaasana, mediating and holding the japamaala in the right hand. The face of Maruti was blossomed with Bhakti. While drawing this sketch of Sri Hanumatha Sri Vyasarajaru himself completely forgotten this world and enjoyed in the realm of Hanuma Bheema and Madhwa.Remembered our Acharya parampara. Sitting in the Yogaasana reminds of our great Sri Madhwacharya to all of us. After applying the dwadasha naama Hanuma this time did not disappear, did not flew away. Remained on the rock and by the Grace of Sri Hari and by the devotion and shraddha of Sri Vyasarajaru Hanumadevaru with a smile appeared on the rock and slowly all features of the murty clearly visible on the sacred rock on the bank of the Tungabhadra Chakrateertha. It seems to us that this was an acid test to our Great Sri Vyasarajaru, thus became successful by the Anugraha of Sri Hari. Immediately offered the first pooja. Then drawn the sketch of twelve kapis in the Yantra round the Yogasanaaroodha Maruti, just like a maalaakaara, thus made digbandhana of Bhakti and as a token rememberance that Maruti flew for twelve times and remained on the thirteenth time of Yogasana. It seems that Sri Praanadevaru wanted this style only by Sri Vyasarajaru. Total thirteen sketches idols is a symbol of
SRIRAMJAYARAMJAYAJAYARAM, Thirteen letters in Devanagari script. Depicting that Hanumantha a great Bhakta of Sri Ramachandra. In the beginning Maruti was open to the sky on the rock.
The Vijayanagara King Tammaraya(Saluva Narasimha’s son Immadi Narasimha) constructed the present temple on the hilly rock. Also made the steps to go up. How he brought all the material for the construction of the temple and how they lifted the rocks are unimaginable. No cranes in those days. Only their creativity, strength and man power made possible to construct the temple at the high spot of the rock which is about more than 200-300 feet height from ground level of Hampi.
In the sacred Yantra contains Koti Beejakshara by Sri Vyasarajaru. Then Sri Vyasarajaru offered three crores of Japa for Siddhi. As a result of all this today Sri Yantroddharaka Praanadevaru is the most siddhi and jaagruta. Devotees performing the seva of Yantroddharaka will be free from all the wicked forces and the desired things will be fulfilled immediately. Our Sri Vijayadasaru Avatara of Bhrugumuni, has written beautifully in the following Suladi.

Sri Vijayadasaru has praised in appreciation of Sri Vyasaraja’s great punya karya, a noble work.
Even our Sri Gopaladasaru has fully believed, described Yantroddhaaraka as Sri Hanuma Bheema Madhwa.

Always lived with Sri Hari, during the days of Mahabharata you have killed the Kouravas for their bad deeds and now sitting in Yogaasana, holding the japamaala and performing japa on the Holy rock of Hampi Tungabhadra Chakrateertha. In this way Sri Gopaladasaru of Uttanoor has praised Vayudevaru and propagated the philosophy of Sri Harisarvottama and Vayujeevottama. The Avatara of Sri Bheemasenadevaru is nicely depicted in Suladi by Sri Gopaladasaru is really great and we are bent with gratitude to the dearest devotee of Yantroddhaaraka Sri Hanumanthadevaru.
The greatest contribution of Uttanoor Sri Gopaladasaru is to be known to all the devotees of the world, that he has donated life span to Sri Jagannathadasaru for the creation of the great work in Kannada in bhaamini shashtpadi Sri Harikathamrutasaara. The bookof all times to all the Vaishnavas Madhwas. We will never forget this magnanimity of our Uttanoor Sri Gopaladasaru the parama bhakta of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu and the parama shishya of Sri Vijayadasaru.
