Sri Sudheendrateertharu
entered the heavenly abode, the lotus feet of Sri Hari,
resided in the Brindavana at Anegundi
on the holy island of Tungabhadra (Navavrundavana)
and Sri Raghavendrateertharu left Hampi
with a heavy heart. When we remember Hampi, the first
rememberance to our heart is Hampi's
Sri Virupakshadevaru, the parama
Vaishnava Rudradevaru, the
lord of Hampi. A huge temple which covers the vast
area. Spacious halls, compound, a big and tall main door. Marvellous sculpture, our old generation's creativity, long
fore sight, their concern something should remain
permanently for years together. The taste, dedication, the way in which they
lived with pomp and show we understand today and that is a witness for the
grandeur of our Vijayanagara empire Hampi.
We have to walk from
Sri Virupaksha temple straight to go to Chakrateertha. We have to cross the rocks and the hilly
stones, which is in the shape of an arch and that is famous as Vanake Kindi. Ups and downs of
rocky bed. Tungabhadra is flowing fast and at one point water will appear as
though it is not flowing owing to the depth of water and it will be whirling
like a circle, Teertha Chakrateertha.
After crossing all this we find the beautiful natural panorama which thrills
our heart. We have to go up and up, of course big steps are there. After
reaching a height of about 300feet from the ground level of Hampi
we find a rock, on that Sacred rock our Yantroddharaka
Praanadevaru is simply heart catching with devotion.
We forget ourselves after seeing the Siddhi Yantroddharaka Sri Maruti - Hanumanthadevaru - Sanjeevaraya -
Praanadevaru. Our strong faith and belief of : Sri Hanuma Bheema Madhwaru.
Prathamo Hanumannaama
Dwiteeyo Bheema Yevacha
PurnaPragnyaTrateeyastuBhagavatKaryaSaadhaakaha.
It is heartening to know that Sri Vyasarajaru spent a pretty long time in Hampi. Daily the Swamiji will take the holy bath in the sacred teertha Chakrateertha and will sit on the bank of Tungabhadra for Ahneeka, Japa and Anushthana, at that time a Kapi(monkey) used to come and sit on a rock, after opening the eyes the monkey will disappear in the rock itself. Holy pontiff Sri Vyasarajaru witnessed with his own eyes. What a great Punyavantaru! This went on for several days.
One day after the evening pooja Sri Vyasarajaru prayed to Sri Mukhya Praanadevaru and with great devotion composed a song and also sang:

All this is described : Hanuma Bheema Madhwa Guruve GuruMukhyaPraana Neene
What Seva you are expecting from me please order, I am ready to do that! Saying ,praying Sri Vyasarajaru slept that night. Early in the morning Sri Maruti appeared in the dream of Sri Vyasarajaru and said, On this famous rock where Kapivarya used to disappear daily was none but Sri Hanumanthadevaru and said, On this holy rock only I met Sri Ramachandra devaru for the first time and had divya darshana Surrendered to Swami completely, the most memorable place, it has to be remembered and to be known to the coming generations. As a significance of this Sri Rama Darshana install me on this rock.
Sri Vyasarajaru was overwhelmed with joy and devotion, went on remembering the incidents of his dream. The next morning finally after the holy dip in Tungabhadra, after the completion of Ahneeka,Anushthana and Japa took Angara(a piece of charcoal), came near the rock on which daily Kapi was simply coming, sitting, disappearing and entering the rock. Wrote a beautiful sketch of Sri Hanumanthadevaru and after that Sri Vyasarajaru applied Dwadasha Naama, after this the Kapi used to fly from the rock and disappear. The sketch was wiped off automaticaaly and did not remain. Twelve times Sri Vyasarajaru has drawn the sketch in different styles, but all of them did the same flew away. Swamiji a staunch Sri Hari Bhakta did not loose his courage.
At last Sri Vrasarajaru has drawn a Yantra in
accordance with the TantraSaara with great devotion praising
Sri Hari. In the center of the Yantra
drawn the sketch of Hanumantha, sitting with yogaasana holding the Japamaala.
Also round the Yantra drawn the sketch of twelve Kapi as maalaakara round the
circle, then applied Dwaadashanaama to Hanumanthadevaru. This time Hanumadevaru
did not flew away. He stayed with joy. Tested the Bhakti
and the patience of the noble Vyasarajaru.Did Praanapratishthapana and performed the Abhisheka
and pooja. The joy of Sri Vyasarajaru
cannot be described in words. In course of time the sketch turned to a fullfledged murty of Pranadevaru and is famous and popular as Hampi Chakrateertha Yantroddhaaraka Praanadevaru. It
is very interesting to know that Maruti desired this
style, so flew away and disappeared. Wanted to make it clear to the whole world
that Hanuma is Bheema and
also Madhwa. So liked this style on the sacred rock
where he met his Lord Sri Ramachandradevaru. So he is
Namaami Dootam Ramsya.
