Background
Dear Devotees: Namaskara. I humbly write
to state that the matter described are not imagined by me. I have followed
Sri Vijayeendra Vijaya by Sri Madhwa Kavi comprising of six Sargas - six
chapters and 273 shlokas, in simple language.The self control-samyama of
Sri Vijayeendrateertharu was like our Malkhed Sri Jaiteertharu and succeeded
in all the tests with smile and cool are described in the Sacred Series
of Mantralaya(154)-Sri Vijayeendra Vaibhava(9).
Meaning
Sri Vijayeendrateertharu made a miracle
and proclaimed the greatness of Harisarvottama and Vayujeevottama, when
the most challenged Chandrakala requested to satisfy Manmatha Peeda only
by pouring and throwing the Nirmaalya of our Moola Ramadevaru on her. A
few mischief mongers of Kerala interpreted this as Vamaachar- Maata-Mantra-Maddu.
But such undo things of Vamaachar have never been done by Dwaita Yatis
and also such things will never come near to the sacred Pontiffs. This
is a record in the history.The whole miracles of our Yatis express only
the grace of Sri Hari-blessings of Sri Hari.Sri Madacharya, Sri Jaiteertharu,
Sri Vijayeendrateertha, Sri Mantralaya Rayaru are the divine boon of Sri
Hari to our devotees. The vicinity of Kumbhakonam and its sanctity is really
enhanced and enriched by Sri Vijayeendrateertharu. Who so ever came to
test him,welcomed, offered hospitality with smile and always ready for
any discussion and debate. The doors of the Sri Matha of Kumbhakonam were
always opened. The Matha was and is like the temple of Goddess Saraswati.
Several devotees are simply amazed
to see the great personality of this saint. Once Brahmins from Kerala came
to Kumbhakonam with a band of beautiful women to the Sri Matha. Women were
in their prime youth, exhibiting their beauty, talking sweet words in the
most sophisticated manner and tried their level best to pollute the sanctum
of Sri Matha. Some were singing, some were dancing and tried to draw the
attention of Sri Vijayeendrateertharu and test the Vrata - Brahmacharyavrata.
But the Swamiji never cared for their makeup nor for their delicate style.
They came forward and said will apply oil to the sawmiji, do the massage
to his body and bathe with their hands. When they went on applying oil
Sri Vijayeendraru looked like a statue never perturbed nor disturbed nor
yielded. On the contrary the Satvika Teja was glowing on his face. All
the five senses-Panchaeindriyas were fully under control as the tortoise
takes inside the legs into the body. The beauty queens were surprised to
see the Samyama the control of all the organs. Sat in Padmaasana
with Divya Teja-Satvika Teja never seen their glittering youth and beauty.
They themselves were ashamed and repented
and said what a foolish thing they were doing to this Godly man. They praised
the great divine Saint Sri Vijayeendrateertharu and did Saashtaanga Namaskara
and requested the Swamiji to excuse for their indecent act. This is the
miracle of this great Saint by the grace of Sri Hari. Words fall short
to describe this great incident.
The Kerala Brahmins accepted their
defeat and said to Sri Vijayeendraru that he had won the test.You are a
real Sannyasi expert in all the sixty four kalas. Made Jaya Ghosha of Sri
Vijayeendraru and went with Phala Mantrakshatae.
The Fifteenth Pontiff of Sri Madacharya
Peetha the divine Victor of our Rayara Matha Sri Vijayeendrateertharu
has acquired the complete Anugraha of Malkheda Sri Jayarayaru Jaiteertharu
had won the Kama. In the same way our Kumbhakonam Sri Vijayeendrateertharu
never gave the heart and mind to the call of Kama. As Vairaagyashaali as
our Malkhed-Yergol Teekaraya. Naishthika Brahmachari The devotees are greatly
surprised to the bhakti,gnyaana,vairaagya,wealth and the vaibhava of Sri
Vijayeendrateertharu. Visit Kumbhakonam like Kasi,Rameshwara and Badari.
Kumbhakonam has drawn the attention of the devotees owing to the unique
extra ordinary qualities of our Rayara Matha pontiff Sri Vijayeendrateertharu-
