Sri Vyasarayaru wrote commentary to “SRIMANNYAYA SUDHA” of SRI JAITEERTHARU and named ”CHANDRIKA”.In Vijayanagara the proclamation of success and bhakti of Madhva philosophy was at its highest due to Sri Vyasarayaru.
Once Sri Vyasarayaru , accompanied by Sri Purandaradasaru, was going to Sri VijayaVithala temple. Very near to the temple Vyasarayaru with all devotion and bhakti immersed in the unusual form of feelings and emotions towards Lord Sri Hari. Now at this juncture "call Kanakadasa, he is able to see Sri Hari" Vyasarayaru shouted. A shepard heard the shouting and came forward, agreed to bring KanakaDasaru. Vyasarayaru offered to bestow whatever shepard asked.
Immediately the shepard brought Kanakadasaru.
On the way Kanakadasaru asked the shepard what Sri Vyasarayaru was doing
at that time? shepard replied saying that Vyasarayaru was crying sometimes
and laughing sometimes (what shepard was referring to crying and laughing
was actually the bhakti rasa and bhava of Shri Hari). Then Kanakadasaru
asked "what are you going to ask in return" ?, The shepard told that he
will ask fruits. Kanakadasaru told don’t ask fruits but ask an equal share
of
Vyasarayara’s cry and laugh. When
Shepard arrived at Vyasarayaru, he asked the same as told by Kanakadasaru.
Vyasarayaru looked at Kanakadasaru and smiled at him ,as they, in their
inward eyes, realized that, it is the Kanaka who made shepard to ask this.
Vyasarayaru told Shepard that "this is not possible in this birth but in
the next birth he is going get his wishes". In next birth shepard became
the "Sri JagannathDasaru" who wrote the famous HariKathaMrutaSara along
with several great works.
Kanakadasaru showed Sri Hari in the form of a dog. Vyasarayaru without caring the people of Sri Matha ,worshipped the dog.
Sri Vyasarayaru made Hampi a Heaven. Performed regular Aahneeka on the bank of TungaBhadra and extend journey to Vaikuntha stayed in NavaVrandavan.
Thus SRIRAGHAVENDRAVIJAYA continued
