(The importance of Proshthhapadi, the role and the devotional influence of Manvi Sri Jagannathadasaru)

Background

Dear Devotees:Namaskara,
Sri Purnandaradasaru, Sri Vijayadasaru, Sri Gopaladasaru and Sri Jagannathadasaru are famous and popular as sacred, holy and Punyaprada Dasavarenyaru called as DASA CHATUSHTAYARU. The places where they lived and the noble seva are also quite well known as Hampi, Cheekalaparavi, Uttanooru and Manvi. The abundant noble seva of Social reformation, enlightenment to the people through the literature, Padas, writings, granthhas, songs, Suladees in simple language resulted as effective advice. Sadaachaara is the basic foundation to the development of personality. Automatically the blossoming of divine ideas and thoughts are soon pondered in the heart. The fountain of devotion towards our Sri Hari Vayu Gurugalu spraying will be incessant. That great task is meticulously rendered by the above four Dasashreshthharu. They are the devotees of our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateerthaavataara and Sri Vyasarajaavataara.   Punyakara Bhaagavata Shravana period is the Proshthhapadi period. Begins from Bhaadrapada Shukla Pratipada and concludes on the day of Anantachaturdashi.

PRAKRUSHTHHAANAM ITI PROSHTHHAPADI

The attainment of Moksha is a very difficult task. To wipe off all our sins, free from all the demerits we have to listen Punyakara Bhaagavata the incidents and the events of Bhaagavatottamas at least for a Sptaaha - week that too without eating anything, fasting, Upavaasa is quite desirable.

Our Mantralaya Prabhu Sri Raghavendrateertharu is our Adhidaiva Karunaalu and Manukuloddharaka universal saint, certain important points are to be shared in accordance to our Sadaachaara.

The importance of Proshthhapadi, the role and the devotional influence of Manvi Sri Jagannathadasaru and the pondering of Purity of Sadachaara are described in Mantralaya(896).  

Meaning:

The most holy and the sacred Proshthhapadi Bhaagavatha Vaachana Pathhana Pravachana Shravana has already began since a week back. Only a week’s time is left to the concluding day of Anantachaturdashi. Listening Bhaagavata observing the fasting is highly fruitful and also fine. Practically the incidents and the events have taken place in the lives of our Paramabhaagavatottamaru are described meticulously in BHAAGAVATA PURANA. Bhaagavata  is the Stotra the praise our Sarvashakta Sarvatantraswatanta Sarvatra Sri Harisarvottama Sri Hari Sri Vishnu Sri MannNarayana.

Pariksheetaraja the son of Abhimanyu, the grandson of Arjuna, suddenly remembered the curse of the Rushi, that his end is by snakebite. The Jyothishees of the royal court reminded the curse of the king. Came to know that only a week’s time seven days are remaining. Luckily Mukta Jeevi Sri Shukamuni Shukacharya, the son of Sri Vedavyasadevaru came to the palace and met Pariksheetaraja. Explained the delicacy that his life is coming to an end within a week from Bhaadrapada Shukla Pratipada! Time is very little! Kindly explain the way of attaining Moksha.  Shukmuni told to the king - Rajana do not worry! A week’s time is enough to find the way of Moksha said with affection. Sri Shukacharyaru’s prime duty is nothing but Lokoddhaara! Sri Hari is very close and dear! Always in the Dhyaana Chintana of Sri Hari Ramakanthha and the heart is filled with devotion!  Shukamuni is too extraordinary Sri Rudramsha Sambhootaru, Parama Vairagya shiromani said from Bhaadrapada Shukla Pratipada to Navami I myself will tell - describe  Bhaagavata Purana. You have to listen with complete devotion, that too observing fast - upavaasa  a Saptaaha seven days. You will definitely attain Moksha! There is no doubt that! It is quite heartening to know that during this auspicious period of Proshthhapadi Sri Sahlaadaavataari

Manvi Sri Jagannathadasara attained the lotus feet of Sri Hari! In Manvi and where ever Mantralaya devotees are spread globally the celebration of Aradhana Upasana offering of Regards will be held with grandeur and devotion. The staunch supporter of  Dasakoota, a great stalwart of Knowledge Sanskrit  Pandit, the pillar of  Vyasakoota gave his heart to Dasakoota and came to the conclusion that Dasakoota is greater and wider than Vyasakoota!

Once it so happened that Sri Srinivasacharyaru(Sri Jagannathadasaru) insulted Sri Vijayadasaru. As a result of this insult Sri Srinivasacharyaru  suffered heavily and seriously owing to the stomach ache! Sri Vijayadasaru’s Paramashishya Mantralaya Rayaru’s Paramabhaktagresara Uttanooru Sri Gopaladasaru cured the stomach pain and Blessed abundantly. Aparokshagnyani Manvi Sri Jagannathadasaru, the prime devotee of our Mantralaya Rayaramatha very dear and near to Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Several Sulaadees, songs, padas are very popular even today. The greatest contribution of Sri Jagannathadasaru  is Sri Harikathhaamruta Saara! The book of all the time! The encyclopedia of Sadaachaarees. Popularly known as RANGOLI DASARU. RANGA VALIDA DASARU. Efficient and expertized in thousands of types of Rangoli and acquired the Anugraha of Sri MannNarayana. Blossomed the divine personality of Bhakti Gnyana Vairaagya love and affection. The Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru,s Purvajanma’s younger  brother of Sri Prahaladarajaru as Sri Sahaladaru! The great soul will always shine as great in all the births. As per the advice of Uttanooru Sri Gopaladasaru  received the Ankita of Sri Jagannathavithala while taking the holy dip in the Chandrabhaaga river of Pandharapur. We are highly amazed to know the greatest Punya of Manvi Sri Jagannathadasaru and words fall short to describe the incidents and the events in the life of Manvi Sri Jagannathadasaru. Dear devotees Sri Jagannathadasaru attained the lotus feet pf Sri Hari during this holy Proshthhapadi period, on the day of Bhaadrapada Shukla Ashtami famous as YELE ASHTAMI - the concluding day of Shraavanamaasa Shukravaara  Sri Mahalaxmi Pooja.

I just wish to share the incidents taking place around us without our knowldge. Simply a dumb spectator to witness. Do not know how to say and why to say?The Brindavana which were existing since sity years worshipping and celebrating the Araadhanas etc. being removed and fresh Brindavanas were installed. Removed because the Brindavanas Pratishthhaapana were not done by a Swamiji and done by an Acharya who was a Gruhastaa - a family man. Sri Raghavendrateertharu looking at the strain taking at this advanced age, told to Sri Appanacharyaru you install Ek ShilaBrindavana at the Japadakatti Bichali, asjacent to river Tungabhadra, daily I will offer Darshana to you. Do not come to Mantralaya from Bichali, daily crossing the Tungabhadra river. Sri Appanacharya a Gruhastha a family man did the Pratishthhaapana, even now the Pooja Sevas are continued. Bichali Japadakatti Ek ShilaBrindavana of Sri Raghavendrateertharu is holy and most Siddhi! Daily thousands of devotees are visiting and are immensely Blessed. More over two Yativarenyarus installing in a single Brindavana is against our religious norms and the delicacy and Yatess periods also vary. Guru and Shishyas cannot be combined in a single Brindavana.  Many times as per Mathabheda Ekadashees also differ about Pooja and Hastodaka etc. How it is legitimate? Everyone is blind! Kept quite! Mediocre devotees simply accept and nod their heads! No one has questioned and detailed so far the religious delicacy and never thought about that! There are certain hard core Sudha Pandits, who do not accept RAMAA NAIVEDYA and HASTODAKA! They say Uchchishthaanna. Though the clear instructions are mentioned:

The hardcore attitude of Madi is horrible. In Kannada we say Madiya Bramheti! When they go to Tirumala after taking the Darshana of Sri Venkateshwara, they do not accept the Prasada they say Mailige, not madi. Sometimes I have laughed to witness such things.

TIRUMALE SRI SRINIVASWAMI  AAVAASA ANANDANILAYA IS SHWETHA DWEEPA ANANTAASANA VAIKUNTHHA  THERE NO ASHUCH AT ALL!  Our Panchendriyas are fully occupied with Bhaki Gnyana Vairaagya at the sacred Sannidhaana of Sri Srinivasadevaru. Simply pronounce with joy and devotion:
GOVINDA HARI GOVINDA GOKULANANADANA GOVINDA

OM NAMO GOVINDA GOVINDA OM NAMO SRI VENKATESHAAYA
OM NAMO SRI NARAYANAAYA

That is the only Mantra.

VENKATAADROW SHUCHI KSHETRE ASHUCHI DOSHO NA VIDYATEI

The question of Ashuchi will never arise nor peep there.

The acceptance of Swami Prasada is of great importance as described in the above shloka of Aaditya Purana.  Even then hardcore Scholars attitude is not changed! The observance of Madi etc. is greater than the wordings of Aadityapurana to the hardcore Pandits! We only Pray Sri Hari Sri Vayu Sri Guru Madhwaryaru to set right, to enlighten and impartthe  right knowledge - Sadbuddhi without any perversion. The wordings of Aadityapurana is a caution: VIPAREETO VIPARYAHA!
