The devotional grandeur of Sri Raghavendrateertharu’s GURUVAIBHAVOTSAVA for a period of one week in Mantralaya celebration by our beloved peetthhaadhipati  H.H.Sri Subudhendrateertharu from Phalguna Shukla Dwiteeya Friday March 08.2019 to Phaguna Shukla Saptami Wednesday March 13.2019. A great feast and festival meticulous in all respects reminds the wordings of Dasaru:

We are  celebrating the 398th Pattabhisheka Mahotsava day of our Adhidaiva Karunaalu Manukula Hitasihi Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertha Gurusarvabhoumaru in Mantralaya and throughout this universe.

It is true - YAE NITYAM Devotees who have completely believed and surrendered to the lotus feet of Rayaru and daily remember and pray with devotion and regard are sure to acquire the complete Anugraha of Rayaru. The sacred sequence of Sanyasa Pradaana, the grandeur of Pattabhisheka of Sri Venkatanatharu and the namakarana of Sri Raghavendra by Sri Sudheendrateertharu are described in MantralayaT(819).

Meaning

The significant of Phalgunamaasa and the holy sequences of our Adhidaiva Sri Raghavendrateertharu are actually carved in the heart of our Mantralaya devotees of this universe. This is always fresh and evergreen in our heart. Really the most auspicious moment - Amruta Muhurta,blossomed the Punya of Manukula. Phaalguna Shuddha Saptami Sri Raghavendrateertha Janmotsava and Phaalguna Shukla Dwiteeya the day of Sanyasaashrama sweekaara and  Pattabhishekotsava. This is the sankalpa of Sri Hari that  Karmaja Devata Sri Shankukarnararavataara as Sri Prahaladarajaru and  Sri Bahleekarajaru for   Dushta Shiksha and  Shishta Paripaalana. We are amazed to the devotional ecstasy of the avataraas of Daitya vamsha Sri Prahaladaraja  and kshatriya vamsha Sri Bahleekarajaru  in attaining the sampurna anugraha of Sri Hari for Vipra janma - Paramahamsatva. Quite desirous of Sri Haripooja! Sri Bahleekaru desired that his avataara samaapti should be from the hand of Sri Vayudevaru Sri Bheemasenadevaru.  Swami Sri Krishna gave the consent with a smile.

As Sri Vyasarajateertharu and Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Now I wish to share the most holy  and sacred Vardhanti of Paramahamsa Pattabhiskotsava of Goutamagotra Shaashthheekavamsha Beegamudre family. Sri Veena Timmannbhataaru and Sadhwi Sri Gopikamba’s first daughter Venkatamba, second son Gururaja and next Sri Venkatanatharu. Sri Venkatanatharu along with his father Sri Timmannabhattaru availed the darshana of Sri Sudheendrateertharu when he was too young and Swamiji really impressed a lot to look at the young child. Felt extremely happy that his next successor to our Sri Hamsanaamaka Paramatma’s Saakshat Parampara of Jagdguru Sri MannMadhwacharyaru’s  Vidyamatha will be the able, noble and the  divine chetana. Sri Venkatanatharu joined the Vidyapeetha in Madhurai and studied under the most efficient ad well versed scholar Sri Laxminarasimhacharyaru. He was none but the husband of his sister Venkatamba and resided in his guru’s residence in Madhurai. In the cycle of time Kaalachakra Sri Venkatanatharu entered Gruhasthhashrama in accordance to the suggestion of elder brother Gururajacharya, elder sister Venkatamba and brother-in-law, his own guru Shatdarshanee Vallabha Sri Laxminarayanacharyaru married a suitable girl Saraswatamma, the finest, sweet life partner to our Venkatabhaataru. Life began!

Sri Venkatanathacharyaru, Sahardharmini Saraswatamma son Sri Laxminarayana and the beloved shishyas the sweet home - the dear and the affectionate family of Sri Venkatanatharu.  Life and living blossomed with Sadaachaara satvika sampada. Sri Venkatanathacharyaru engaged in Pooja, Adhyayana, Adhyaapana, Chintana, Manthhaana and Nidhidhyaasa! Lived happily and peacefully. The divine smile of this couple was responsible to all the success.

But the Sankalpa  of Sri Hari was altogether a different one ! In the interest of the welfare of Manukula Sri Venkatanatharu has to give up this family life and accept Vairaagya  Sanyasa. The grave poverty fell like a thunder on the family of this satvika swaabhimaani devotee. Suffered a lot! that no one can imagine. At last Saraswatamma suggested  Sri Venkatanatharu to leave Bhuvanagiri and go to Kumbhakonam  Sri Vibudhendrateerthamatha Paramguru  Sri Vijayeendrateertharu’s Vidyamatha  now Sri Sudheendrateertharu is the Peethhaadhipati let us go to his sannidhaana. Sri Venkatanatharu already an eminent scholar efficient and expert in all branches of knowledge. Uddaama Panditaru of Kavya Shaastra Vyakarana Meemaamse Tarka and Bhaasyava  digested thoroughly Apart from that a born teacher. There is a great saying in English : Poets are born and not made, artists are born and not made, teachers are born and not made. Sri Sudheendrateerthara entrusted the noble job of a guru in Vidyapeetha to teach and train the shishyas. From the very first day everybody in the   vidyamatha including Parama Poojya Sri Sudheendrateertharu, the entire circle of scholars, devotees and the shishyas liked abundantly. Commanded lot of respect, regard and affection of all.  Saraswatamma was quite happy, satisfied and contented that everything is sumptuous. No shortage of anything! Life was like a heaven to Sadhwi shiromani. During this time only Sri MoolaRamadevaru appeared in the dream of Sri Sudheendrateertharu and ordered to find the able successor that to Sri Venkatanatharu. Guruvara Sri Sudheendrateertharu was completely aware of all this and the family attachment of Sarswatamma. Now only they are leading a happy. If I say all this the happiness of family life will be spoilt by me. Swamiji  plunged in deep thinking! At last Sri Venkatanatharu is born for the sake of the great noble cause of Lokahita and lokoddhaara. Divine chetana’s life is not limited only to this Grahastaashrama !  Born for the Saadhana of Gnyana Bhakti Vairagya Punya Siddhi and to propagate Sri Hari Sarvottamatva. Thinking in this way Sri Sudheendrateertharu explained all this and accept Sanyasatva and Peethha. Hearing this news Sri Venkatanatharu flatly refused and indulged in deep thinking. Sri Narayanacharya described meticulously in Sri Raghavendra Vijaya.

Sri Sudheendrateertharu advised SriI Venkatanatharyaru to accept Sanyasa and lead the vidyamatha in several ways. Sri Venkatantharu plunged in deep thinking, whether to accept or not? The family bondage was on one side and the beloved Guru’s advice was on the other side. Wavering mind. If stay here in the kumbhakonam matha Sri Sudheendrateertharu will definitely impart Sanyasa. If I leave this place with Saraswatamma and Laxminaryana Swamiji will definitely curse me. So was in deep thinking. At that time Sri Venkatanatharu was at the prime of youth of 26 years.

Sri Vidyalaxmi appeared in the dream of Sri Venkatanatharu and detailed the whole thing and advised to accept Sanyasa in the interest of Lokoddhaara to worship Sri MoolaRamadevaru and gave the assurance that She will be there at each and every step and take care.

That night early in the morning Sri Sharadambaa  -  Vidyalaxmi appeared in the dream of our prospering peethhaadhipati Sri Venkatanatharu  wearing a beautiful Kancheevaram Sari, the eyes were like fully blossomed lotus flowers. Sat near the bed of Sri Venkatabhattaru and told him:

Sri Vyasadevaru has made rule that that I have to reside at the sannidhaana of Paramahamsaru daily worshipping  Sri MoolaRamardevaru. Only the Sanyasi has got the right to worship. you have to accept this great valuable offer. This is the order of Sri Vidyalaxmi  -  Sri Ashtalaxmi and Sri Sharadamba. Finally our Sri Venkatanthacharyaru agreed to accept  the Sanyasaashrama,

Early in the morning Sri Venkatanatharu got up. Finished the holy dip, Aahneeka and Japa. Straight away went to Vidyamatha and detailed the whole thing of Swapna vruttaanta to Parama Poojya Peethhaadhipati Sri Sudheendrateerthaaru from the beginning to the end. Agreed to accept the most sacred Paramahamsaashrama. Gurugalu Sri Sudheendrateertharu arranged the Upanayana from the Shreematha with all grandeur as per the Sadaachaara of Sri MannMadhwacharyaru. It was a great feast of festival in our vidyamatha Kumbhakonam. The joy and the happiness of noble couple, the sacred parents Sri Venkatabhattaru and Sri Saraswatamma knew no bonds! But it was difficult to convey and console the unpleasant news to Saraswatamma and to get her permission. Some how from the public she came to know that her PATIDEVA SRI VENKATANATHARU IS ACCEPT SANYASA. Eyes filled with tears simply weeping and weeping, as soon as He came, Sahadharmini Sri Saraswataama washed the lotus feet of Sri Venkatanatharu placing her head on them. Sri Venkatanatharu could not spell out more! At last said this is the will and wish of Sri Hari Vayu GuruMadhwaryaru, the order of Sri MoolaRamadevaru and of Guru Sri Sudheendrateertharu. She cannot live without the punya darshana and seva of her husband even for a single day. The grief was at its highest. Even Sanyasi Sri Sudheendrateertharu felt extremely sorry to look at the plight of Saraswatamma.

Thinking about all this arranged the Pattabhisheka of Sri Venkatanatharu in the royal court of Tanjore. The joy and the happiness of king  Sri Raghunathanayakaru knew no bonds! Like a bride Tanjore was decorated and the citizens of all caste, creed, religion, age and gender felt extremely happy. Of all the people Sri Sudheendrateertharu was the happiest person on that day. That his successor is not an ordinary chetana. All aspire that their successors should be able and noble. Simply praised Sri Hari and bent with gratitude.Sri Venkatanatharu Paramashreshthha Gnyani Karuni Bhaktaagrani. This is Sri Hari’s special  Paramaanugraha !

Sri Vnkatanatharu  took holy dip in Kaveri !  Aahneeka Virajaahoma  were all arranged by the Tanjore king on the bank of Kaveri. Even to this day we can see that holy mantapa . Again bathed and wore Kaashaaya vastra shining like a Sun got ready and reached the royal court and stood in front of his beloved guru Sri Sudheendrateertharu to accept Paramahamsaashrama and to perform the Pooja Kainkarya of Sri MoolaRamadevaru !  Guruvaryaru completed all the formalities as per the protocol and named  the new yativarenyaru as SRI RAGHAVENDRATEERTHA.
