RaghavendraTheertharu

It is important to know Sri VadeendraTeertharu’s famous Stotra in GuruGunaStavana

|| Vyasena Vyupta Beejaha Shruti Buvi BhagavatpadaLabdhankurashrihi
Pratyaireeshat Prabhinno Jani JayaMuninaa Samyadudbhinna Shaakhaa
    Mouneesha VyasaraajaatUdita Kisalaha Pushpitoyam Jayeendraat
Adya Sri Raghavendraat Vilasati Phalito Madhwa Siddhanta Shaakhee ||

The meaning of above stotra is - Sri VedaVysaru seeded the Madhwa Philosophy. We found the offshoots by Sri Madhwacharyaru. During the days of Sri Jayatheertharu Madhwa Philosophy adorned with several branches. Then again during the days of Sri Vyasarayaru and Sri Vijayeendratheertharu the Madhwa tree blossomed with flowers. Finally we are fortunate to enjoy the fruits by the works of Mantralaya Sri RagahvendraTheertharuGuruSarvabhoumaru

Dwaitha philosophy was at its peak during the timeframe of Sri Madhwacharyaru to Sri Sudheendratheerthru. But after the Brindavana Pravesh of Sri Vijayeendratheertharu and Sri Sudheendratheertharu the sate of Tanjore and Madurai became weak. The status of Vijayanagara king at Vellore was also reduced. During this time frame practice of Hinduism got black shadow with the power rise of Bijapur and Golconda kings. During this period Hindu culture and Dwaitha philosophy faced the threat and extinction.

At this juncture , there was a need to for a Godly wisdom and philosophical person to reenergize the scholars and save the basic foundation of Dwaitha philosophy. Sri Hari inspired VenkannaBhataru to become Sri RagahvendraTheertharu to save the mankind.

Sri RagahvendraTheertharu had an ambition of writing commentaries on Vedas in his poorvashrama. Rayaru Guru Sri Sudheendratheertharu said - this ambition could only turn into real , if he becomes the King of VedanthaSamrajyaPeetha as Sri RaghavendraTheertharu. Later Sri RaghavendraTheertharu wrote remarkable works about Vedas.

Mantralaya Sri RagahvendraTheertharu wrote many books , conducted various workshops, taught till he entered Brindavana, rescued those who are in trouble. Thus saving the Manukula and teachings of Sri Madhwacharya.

The writings of Mantralaya Sri RagahvendraTheertharu is beyond imagination of lay man like us. Every work of Sri Rayaru is unique. Mantralaya Sri RagahvendraTheertharu never created meaningless thoughts and doubt about Tattva in his writings. Meaningless words never came out of his mouth. What Rayaru said once never repeated and whatever he wrote was the final.

Sri RagahvendraTheertharu is also a major contributor to Kannada DasaSahitya with AnkitaNaama of VenuGopal, unfortunately his Kannada works have not been preserved and we just know about Avataratraya Suladi and InduEngaiGovinda.

Mantralaya Sri RagahvendraTheertharu being a Vayu Aavesha and Shesha Aavesha, his works are blessed by Sri Hari and Sri Vayu Gurugalu.
